MLTP S40 Majors Power Rankings by Historical Performance
fm | September 1, 2026
Method
The underlying metric I've used it is TEff from tagpro-reference: TSCAR per 10 minutes. A TSCAR of 0 represents replacement-level production; negative values mean the historical season fell below that baseline. The site's SCAR explainer covers the underlying metric.
For each player I grabbed their most recent TEff from when they last played in their current tier. I played Majors in S39, so for myself I used S39. However omni played Majors in S39 and Minors in S38. Because he's on a minors roster, I'm using his S38 minors TEff.
History covers S20–S39. The selection rule is the most recent majors season with at least 100 minutes. Where no qualifying majors season is available, the stated fallback order is minors TEff at 50%, novice TEff at 25%, then an estimate from big-board players within 50 ranked-skill points, discounted 25%.
For this field, 39 players use majors history and one uses minors history. brim main's minors TEff of 0.82 is halved to 0.41. The totals retain the negative majors values for NameLEss and vic.
What this means for the rankings
- The age of the data varies substantially. Only 18 of 40 values come from S39. Eashy uses S22, Doris S32, and DAD. and karma S35. Those seasons receive the same weight as S39, so a high score can depend on a player reproducing much older form.
- A short qualifying season is extrapolated just like a full one. vic and Taurus each have 100 minutes behind their estimates; Eashy has 120. Nineteen players have a full 350-minute source season. The model does not reduce a value's weight because it comes from a smaller sample.
- Roster totals depend on all four values. A strong individual season can be offset by smaller or negative contributions elsewhere. A negative value describes the season used, rather than establishing how that player will perform in S40.
- The minors conversion is an assumption. The 50% discount directly affects brim main and SNI. It is not a measured conversion rate between tiers.
- Playing time and team fit are held constant. These estimates do not account for absences, substitutions, improvement, new teammates, or maps. The scores are a historical baseline for comparison.
Team breakdowns
The tables show the historical season, minutes played in that season, and TEff used in the calculation. Seasons are majors unless marked otherwise. brim main's TEff includes the minors discount.
1. Fastest Way Only — 114.5
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| jimmysumball | S38 | 248 | 1.07 |
| DAD. | S35 | 350 | 1.00 |
| phreak | S37 | 350 | 0.83 |
| MarcusYallow | S38 | 150 | 0.37 |
FWO is the only roster with three players at 0.83 TEff or better. jimmysumball, DAD., and phreak combine for 101.5 projected TSCAR, more than any other team's four-player total.
None of FWO's values comes from S39. DAD.'s S35 season contributes 35.0 TSCAR, so a sizeable part of the lead depends on production from five seasons before S40.
2. Secure. Contain. Prevent. — 98.4
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| ASAP | S39 | 350 | 1.09 |
| jig | S38 | 250 | 0.83 |
| Eashy | S22 | 120 | 0.75 |
| Asmodeus | S37 | 300 | 0.14 |
ASAP and jig contribute 67.2 projected TSCAR. Eashy adds 26.3, about 27% of the team total, from just 120 minutes in S22.
That is the oldest season used anywhere in these rankings. SCP has three strong historical values, but considerably less recent evidence for one of them.
3. Snipe Hunt — 95.9
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vorhees | S38 | 250 | 1.03 |
| BallSaget | S39 | 350 | 0.88 |
| Ty | S38 | 250 | 0.42 |
| brim main | Minors S34 | 280 | 0.41 |
Vorhees and BallSaget account for 66.9 projected TSCAR, roughly 70% of SNI's total. Ty and brim main contribute 29.1 between them.
brim main is the only player valued from minors history. His S34 TEff of 0.82 is halved to 0.41 for this comparison. Vorhees's S38 season is recorded under BOTDON'TLIE.
4. C.R.E.A.M. — 94.2
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Button | S39 | 250 | 0.95 |
| OuchMyBalls | S39 | 350 | 0.94 |
| jazzz | S39 | 300 | 0.44 |
| 1deag | S38 | 250 | 0.36 |
Button and OuchMyBalls have almost identical values: 0.95 and 0.94 TEff. Together they contribute 66.2 projected TSCAR, about 70% of CRM's total.
The distribution is similar to SNI's, with only 1.8 points separating the teams. Three of CRM's four values come from S39; the fourth comes from S38.
5. Heart of the Hold — 88.9
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| d0pe | S38 | 250 | 0.97 |
| Wet Fart | S38 | 250 | 0.73 |
| Doris | S32 | 350 | 0.65 |
| KING KRULE | S38 | 200 | 0.19 |
d0pe, Wet Fart, and Doris combine for 82.3 projected TSCAR, about 93% of the team total. KING KRULE adds 6.7.
Doris's 22.8 comes from S32, the second-oldest season in the field. HOH is only 3.2 points ahead of FUR, making that older estimate relevant to a close placement.
6. Furballers — 85.8
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| BALLDON'TLIE | S39 | 350 | 1.27 |
| karma | S35 | 350 | 0.47 |
| Peach Farmer | S39 | 350 | 0.45 |
| Taurus | S39 | 100 | 0.26 |
BALLDON'TLIE's 1.27 TEff is the highest individual value in the field. His 44.5 projected TSCAR accounts for 52% of FUR's total; the other three players combine for 41.3.
7. Rolling for Poost — 79.8
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| fm | S39 | 300 | 0.83 |
| fender | S39 | 350 | 0.64 |
| rina | S38 | 200 | 0.58 |
| Arbybear | S39 | 350 | 0.23 |
fm, fender, and rina combine for 71.8 projected TSCAR. RFP has three players at 0.58 TEff or better, although none is above fm's 0.83.
All four values come from S38 or S39, with at least 200 minutes behind each estimate. RFP sits about six points from the team immediately above and below it.
8. A Blockwork Orange — 73.9
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| DudeMcGuy | S37 | 350 | 0.62 |
| Messi | S39 | 350 | 0.57 |
| mex | S38 | 250 | 0.51 |
| chuggo | S39 | 350 | 0.41 |
ABO has the smallest spread between its highest and lowest player values: 0.21 TEff. Its lowest value, chuggo's 0.41, is also the highest fourth-player value among the ten rosters.
The eighth-place total comes from having fewer large contributions at the top. ABO is the only team without a player above 0.62 TEff.
9. The Holy Seehawks — 59.9
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alphachurro | S39 | 350 | 0.86 |
| Irony | S39 | 350 | 0.68 |
| BoldRoller | S37 | 350 | 0.23 |
| NameLEss | S39 | 250 | -0.06 |
Alphachurro and Irony contribute 53.9 projected TSCAR, 90% of THS's total. BoldRoller and NameLEss combine for 6.0.
NameLEss's S39 season is slightly below the metric's replacement baseline. Setting that contribution to zero would put THS at 62.0, still ninth. The 14.0-point gap to ABO is larger than that one negative value explains.
10. Portland Tile Blazers — 57.1
| Player | Season | Minutes | TEff |
|---|---|---|---|
| okthen | S37 | 350 | 1.10 |
| Skinny Chode | S39 | 350 | 0.58 |
| Prime | S38 | 250 | 0.30 |
| vic | S39 | 100 | -0.35 |
okthen has the second-highest individual value in these rankings at 38.5 projected TSCAR. Skinny Chode adds 20.3 and Prime 10.5, while vic's S39 season contributes -12.3.
vic's estimate extrapolates exactly 100 minutes, the minimum qualifying sample, to a full season. Setting his contribution to zero would raise PTB to 69.3 and ninth place. It has a substantial effect on the total, but removing the negative alone would not put PTB in the middle of the table.
How the teams stack up
| Rank | Team | Projected TSCAR | Main factor |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Fastest Way Only (FWO) | 114.5 | Three players at 0.83 TEff or better |
| 2 | Secure. Contain. Prevent. (SCP) | 98.4 | Eashy's S22 estimate supplies 27% of the total |
| 3 | Snipe Hunt (SNI) | 95.9 | Vorhees and BallSaget supply 70% |
| 4 | C.R.E.A.M. (CRM) | 94.2 | Two near-equal leaders; three S39 source seasons |
| 5 | Heart of the Hold (HOH) | 88.9 | Three players supply 93%, including Doris's S32 value |
| 6 | Furballers (FUR) | 85.8 | BALLDON'TLIE supplies 52% |
| 7 | Rolling for Poost (RFP) | 79.8 | Three players at 0.58 or better; all values from S38–S39 |
| 8 | A Blockwork Orange (ABO) | 73.9 | Smallest player-value spread, at 0.21 TEff |
| 9 | The Holy Seehawks (THS) | 59.9 | Alphachurro and Irony supply 90% |
| 10 | Portland Tile Blazers (PTB) | 57.1 | Second-highest individual value, plus a negative 100-minute sample |
FWO has the largest lead over the next team: 16.1 TSCAR. Its top three players combine for 101.5, exceeding every other team's four-player total. That is the clearest advantage in the data, although none of its four source seasons is S39.
Second through sixth are separated by 12.6 points. SCP leads that group, with SNI and CRM just 1.8 apart. HOH and FUR follow. Eashy's S22 season, Doris's S32 season, and Taurus's roster status each affect a team in this group, so the exact order deserves less confidence than the table alone suggests.
RFP and ABO sit below that group, with 6.0 points between them. RFP has higher values among its top three; ABO has the strongest lowest-rated player and the narrowest spread. ABO then has a 14.0-point lead over THS.
THS and PTB are separated by 2.8 points. Both get most of their total from their leading players. Replacing their negative contributions with zero would leave them in the bottom two, with PTB moving ahead of THS. Their positions reflect the full roster totals, not just one negative season.
